What shall I render to Jehovah,

I make a declaration of High praise to the Lord for this next level milestone in my life

As I open His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise… Psalm 100:4
…For the heavens to be open over my life, calling & ministry as I go forward from this day
… For God is good, His mercy and loving kindness endures forever

High praise = Praying the Word of God back to Him
Taking scripture and making a prayer out of it

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that He considered me trustworthy, appointing me to His service… 1 Timothy 1:12
…many are called, few are chosen and few are faithful to the end…Matthew 22:14
…my prayer is like Apostle Paul…
… May I be given the grace to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith…2 Timothy 4:7
… As I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus…Philippians 3:14
… For I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me …Philippians 4:13
… Remembering that the power of God shall be made perfect in my weakness…2 Corinthians 12:19
… as God works in me, giving me the desire and the power to do what pleases Him…Philippians 2:13
… giving me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ… Ephesians 1:17
For indeed – Romans 8:28-30
… God will work out everything for my good, so long as I love Him and are pursuing His purposes
…For those God foreknew, He predestines to be like Christ Jesus
… then He calls them, justifies them and glorifies them
May I be transformed into the image and likeness of Christ from glory to glory…2 Corinthians 3:18
…bearing the fruits and gifts of His spirit
… reflecting the character and abilities of Christ
In the end may it be determined that I am indeed a
…good and faithful servant, faithful with the few and put in charge of many, and invited to enter into the joy of his master – Matthew 25 – Parable of the talents
Now may the God of peace equip me with all I need for doing His will. May He produce in me, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen!…Hebrews 13:21

Holy Spirit – use me to be a blessing to your people and all for Your glory

Indeed it is a next level… I would not have thought of during the prayer & fasting
…first time for this kind of platform
… as I am moving away from the initial …Moses, Gideon, Isaiah mindset of
…. God are you sure you chose the right person??
…to God has said it, I believe it, that settles it!
indeed -Tearing down strongholds and bringing every thought captive into the obedience of Christ…2 Corinthians 10:5

My name ….

About a year ago – thinking of settling up country- family considerations
But because of child’s education, was here for another year
By mid this year – things happened
… Summarised – God is looking for you – now!
… that is how I find myself here today

OK – so how does one start??

Asking Apostle, Pastor & Prophet

Basically
…just start walking towards the call of God for your life
… hakunaga firimbi … there is no formula
… the comfort zone Christian in me does not like such situations!
– We like some certainty and order in our lives
Baby never told to start crawling
… it feels it inside… start moving
… when you fall and mess up, get up and move on!
Apostle taught on Ezekiel 47 and the river that flows from under the Temple
– It witnessed to me…
– moving away from the ways of the world towards the spirit
… spirit and flesh are contrary and opposed to one another…Galatians 5:17
…. situation may be muddy in the beginning – mostly because ones effort is still involved
… but as you get into the deep, the Spirit of God takes over
… don’t be too rigid or you might break
– Not by power, nor by might, but by the Spirit of God…Zechariah 4:6

I am moving form the mindset – stronghold of..

….Focusing more on the problem rather than on the problem solver – the Solution

I am those who know and can tell you what is the problem with everything
… rarely mentioning what is right or good about a situation
I should no longer be telling God how big my problem is…
..but be telling my problem how big my God is
Unajua Mungu wangu… sio unajua shida yangu!
… mustard seed faith that moves mountains has to start working in my life… Matthew 17:20
… I can’t please God without faith… Hebrews 11:6

Thinking on what to talk about today

Asking the Lord what is in your heart for Your people

Go but do not go alone!

Share what you have experienced and learn’t in beginning your walk towards your call

Go but do not go alone!
To encourage that one person and move together in the service of the Lord
– Harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few…Matthew 9:37
Especially for men in ministry … finding more women inclined to than men
… requires levels of submission, obedience, humility, brokenness – not characters today’s men are comfortable with.
Walking in the principles of love and unity
…The Body of Christ has to start functioning as a complementary unit
… each one doing their part for the greater good
… but according to divine order

God wants His business done His way – not my way

Based on His Word
– In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God…John 1:1
Only way that He guarantee success – doing things in divine order
– At times we look at the world and it looks like all hope is lost
… can I really make a difference?
… but when sin abounds, grace super abounds.. Romans 5:20
… there is always a remnant chosen by grace… Romans 11:5

– ?? Are you part of the remnant chosen by grace??

God here seemed to be answering my question – Is He sure about me??
God can use the foolish and weak things to confound the strong and the wise…1 Corinthians 1:27
Possibly I am the remnant chosen by grace, so it is His grace that will take me through!

So long as one puts God first, all things are possible…

What the Lord has been Alpha of…He will also be the Omega….
What we allow God to author in our life, He shall be obligated to finish…
…For His Name sake…
– Isaiah 48:11 (NKJV) – For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

…?? In my work or business, spouse or child, family or ministry

… did I make God the Alpha, the Author of it so that His Name is on it?
… So that He can be the Omega and finisher of it??
– Allowing grace to work for us – unmerited favor – getting what I don’t deserve
American with the American passport
… their government will move to save them when in trouble
– I am a citizen of heaven – part of the civil service of heaven

– Today we have a chance to rededicate and stand on the promise of Isaiah 11:48

… so that in that aspect of my life, I can experience life and life more abundantly…
… moving it from the arena of the enemy where it is killing, stealing and destruction… John 10:10

Scripture anchor that has been on my heart during this period

Not one left behind – Parable of the Lost Sheep – Matthew 18
…leaving the 99 and going for the 1

…. Go but don’t go alone – be a blessing to another during your journey

… Go be fruitful and multiply for the kingdom & glory of God
… but remember – A tree does not eat its own fruit – it produces for others to enjoy

Basically – It may be a thankless job in terms of the people you are a blessing to

but – My love for man should not be based on man… but based on my love for God.
Jeremiah 17:5-9
Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind or makes flesh their strength and turns their heart from the Lord
The heart of man is desperately wicked, who can know it but the Lord
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him

Anchored on at least two principles

1. Fear of the Lord – I fear offending God in anything – Joseph & Portiphers wife
… for this is considered the beginning of wisdom ….Psalm 111:10
2. Joy of the Lord is my strength ( Nehemiah 8:10) – My motivation / strength comes from knowing the Papa God is happy with what I am doing
– It brings Him joy and makes Him smile
– well done good & faithful servant, enter into the joy of your master…Matthew 25 – Parable of the talents
Why a young kid will look for approval from the parent to be motivated to do what they are doing
– I see it constantly with my son – Daddy look, daddy look, daddy look

An example of the left behind – those I should consider…that one person

My understanding of ministry – is according to Ephesians 4:11-13

Christ appoints His government…Ecclesia
Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers
– Apostle- thumb – strength… Jesus described as an Apostle… Hebrews 3:1
– Prophets – points – give direction from God’s instruction
Apostle and prophets form the foundation with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone… Ephesians 2:20
– To equip God’s people to do His work
– To build up the Church – Body of Christ
to bring about the divine standard of Christ in achieving
– Unity of faith
– Knowledge of Christ

My calling seems to be teacher leaning on pastoral!!

Callings I would have never imagined I would do – not even an inkling
Naitwa mwalimu — pastor!!

In that context of calling – what is this – Go but don’t go alone??

Left behind because I have not heard – The Word
…Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God… Romans 10:17
Or having heard I do not understand
– Get a revelation of the Word
… The Aha moment when my spirit witnesses to the truth of the Word
… The Logos Word activated into a Rhema – made alive by the Spirit of God
– Word is like a seed that needs fertile ground (heart) & Living Water ( Holy Spirit) to be activated to take root and bear fruit.
…The Word that has not found fertile ground in my heart to take root
…. cannot be established in my life to bear fruit
…. Parable of the Sower – Luke 8
Faith has come by my hearing – but there is no corresponding action to anchor it on my heart…
– Faith without action is dead… James 2:17

Scripture without the revelation of an aspect of Christ in it is dead!

Christ came that we may have life & life in abundance… John 10:10
John 5:39 – 40 (NLT)
“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!
Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.
Luke 24:27
Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Christ is the Word that brings life into our dead or dark situations

Christ through Himself as the Word brings revelation (light, understanding, wisdom) into the issues of our lives.
The Solution of Christ has been there from the beginning. It is for us to discover and apply Him in our lives

John 1:1-5 (BSB)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcomea it.

We perish for lack of knowledge and understanding… Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13

Knowledge has to gained and applied for it to bear fruit
…Faith without acts that prove that I have faith is dead…James 2:17
It therefore has to move from my head – lecturer of the Word
.. to my heart with the Spirit of Christ in it
– Activated Logos = Rhema
… The Spirit of Life to bring life to it
… The Living Water to activate it take root, grow and bear fruit
Importance of why it needs to come to the heart…
… for out of the heart flows the issues of life…Proverbs 4:23
… for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he…Proverbs 23:7

Unleashing the power of the Word is important

Cannot teach what I don’t know
It will also have to bless me before another

Another way of looking at it…

activating the power of the Word from the heart

Concept of – Making every effort to labor into rest – Hebrews 4:11

Fighting to move the Word of God from the mind – figuring it out by flesh or world
…Into the heart – where our will and emotions are influenced by the Spirit of God in us
…Will – what we do / actions
… Emotions – the fruit that is produced from the actions – fruit of the Spirit
…love, joy, peace, patience…
That is why – How do you know something was of God??
… I felt a peace about it – that surpasses all understanding

Apostle always emphasizing that

Get a revelation of the importance of sacrifice & giving
…move that Word from our minds to our hearts
… stop thinking about it naturally but operate from the heart
…get to a point where your spirit can witness to the truth of the Word on sacrifice & giving
… The Word being living & powerful shall have taken root and shall bear fruit
…we shall be amazed at the fruit of it
… will solve a large number of the problems we cry about on provision and unlocking the heavens

Jesus said in John 6:63

– The Words He speaks are spirit and life ( living and powerful)
– The spirit gives life and the flesh profits nothing
The spirit in the Word should witness to the spirit of God in us
The life in the Word should bring life and life more abundantly into our lives
The Spirit and Life in the Word should witness to the spirit and life in us…
– Automatically releasing life and power … Hebrews 4:12
…as it tries to bring into equilibrium the heaven and earth of our situation
… (power or water flows from the greatest to the lowest )
…from what God said in His Word ( His Promise) to the deficiency in our lives

Indeed

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,…Romans 8:16

– Why we should therefore labor into that rest
… move the Word from our mind and have it rest in our hearts (spirit)
… he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life… Galatians 6:8
His thoughts and ways are not ours… Isaiah 55:8

Woman with the issue of blood…Luke 8:40-48

She labored to touch (connect to) the Living Word

The promise:

…..The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings: And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture…Malachi 4:2
– She had faith in that Word and labored to touch the wings / tips of the Son of Righteousness ….Faith without works that demonstrate our faith is dead…James 2:17
… And she had to have pleasing faith at that – as it is impossible to please God without faith as anyone who approaches God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him…Hebrews 11:6
… Faith being the substance of the thing she hoped for, the evidence of the things she could not see… Hebrews 11:1

When she connected to the Living Word through her faith in the Word

She connected to the Life & Power of the Word
She connected to the Spirit & Life of the Word
Using the key of faith…
…believing in her heart – For with your heart you believe and are justified… Romans 10:10
… proving with her actions – for faith without actions is dead…James 2:17
… confessing with her mouth ( Jesus made her confess) ….Luke 8:47
– And entered into her rest (the peace of Christ )…Go in peace…Luke 8:48
…when the power of God flowed and reached equilibrium with heaven (The Word, The Promise) on her situation…by His stripes we ARE healed…Isaiah 53:5

When the spiritual circuits close / connect in our lives – power of God flows

When the Heart of God connects to the heart of man – through faith – the power of God flows
… When what God says and what I think, say & do about a situation are in agreement – the power of God flows
– That is pleasing faith that releases the power of God to work in our lives… Hebrews 11:6

The Word brought her Salvation – Romans 10:8-13 (BSB)

8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”d that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

11It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”e 12For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him, 13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”f

How many of us know our callings?

Some of us our calling is towards the teaching and pastoral ministry
Go but don’t go alone…

My current level of understanding of my call

– to bring about the hearing & the understanding of the Word through the Spirit of God
… grounding people in the Word through insight & revelation of Christ in it
… capturing the mind & the heart through the Word – Good News of the Gospel
… teaching with a pastoral bent
… practical application of the power of the Word to minister to our every day needs
… bringing out the life & power of the Word as an experience

To be a good a teacher

One first has to be a good student
… empower others to go teach and bring understanding to others
Need to go through the whole Bible several times – from Genesis to Revelations
– Need to know & understand what I am to teach

2 Timothy 3:16-17 – best summarizes… for me the teaching ministry

– All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
– so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
NLT – All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

I should hear testimonies of you sounding intelligent when you explain to friends and workmates

Why a fruit tree was created not to eat its own fruit…
What is this concept I hear of Fear of the Lord…
Another angle of looking at – The joy of the Lord is my strength
Why the Word has to move from the mind to the heart for it to produce fruit in my life
5 fold ministry as the government of Christ & how they work together to bring strength to the Body of Christ
When I labour to connect spiritual circuits – my spirit to God’s Spirit – power of God flows in that situation

Today – seek and confirm your divine calling

… there are certain graces given that will enable you to succeed
… don’t be praying for the next level in something you are not called to do
– A bird trying for the next level of swimming
– A fish believing for the next level in tree climbing
– A lion believing in the next level of flying

Some of us are called to be lions, but we are busy eating & enjoying grass and not looking for meat…

Some of us are born to be eagles, but we are busy spending time among the chickens

#May the Lord help us walk in the principles of

Love & Unity
Fear of the Lord & Joy of the Lord
Wisdom & understanding
Seeking first His Kingdom & His Righteousness

…. as we pursue His will purposes & plans for our lives

… ALL for His Kingdom and for His Glory
