… But not understanding that Apostle has been actively running with Christ for the last 20 years

All wonderful testimonies…

… but we forget & rarely notice the test before the testimony
… the locusts that were eaten with the honey – John the Baptist
… the thorns that came before the crown – Jesus

Am I willing to pay the price for the testimony?

…To sacrifice & do what needs to be done so as to…

… do what has never been done?
… Reach where others have not reached?
… Achieved what has never been achieved?

Or I want to be a seeker of instant miracles of this microwave generation

… want muscles without working out?
… want the testimony but without the test?
… looking for a solution in a pill?

I need to count the cost

As Jesus says – carry my cross to be His disciple…Luke 14:27-29

Every birth of a blessing or a breakthrough is preceded by the pain of labour = a cost

WHY?

We only tend to value what has cost us something

Pace setter

So even I …as I press on towards the goal of the high calling in Christ… Philippians 3:14

I can’t do it alone and need people to support me – the pace setters of my life
…understanding that it is a 2 way process
… I should also be a pace setter in someone’s else’s life
…helping them strive to achieve their divine destiny
… As it is not a competition – everyone has their own unique race

… coz out of the heart flows the issues of life… Proverbs 4:23
… The Spirit & Life in the Word should witness to the spirit and Life in me
… Where the spiritual circuits close – What God says and what I think, say & do are in agreement…power automatically flows…

I may be called to be a teacher of the Word

BUT, when one is called, it doesn’t mean they are appointed yet
… One is merely given the chance to be…to accept or decline
Many are called, few are chosen…Matthew 22:14
Possibly we are appointed (confirmed?) after passing the test of the calling
…or the chosen are those that accept the calling or invitation together with its terms and conditions
… Like Jonah – He had to accept or decline that call of God on his life
… but decisions have consequences
When you are called to the army… there is the trials to see if one can hack it
…one is thereafter appointed and confirmed into the position

… I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service… 1 Timothy 1:12

… Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall...2 Peter 1:10

God chooses us, we don’t chose Him

We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be His own people…1 Thessalonians 1:4
But we should always thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning to be saved by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth…. 2 Thessalonians 2:13
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes… Ephesians 1:4
You did not chose Me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and you should bear fruit, and your fruit should remain, so that whatever you might ask the Father in My name, He may give you…John 15:16

What did Jesus Christ come to do in the world?

The answer was given to us in Luke 4:18-19

God had a vision for the world of what He wanted accomplished

He gave us the Gift of Love to fulfill that vision through the Word…
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God… John 1:1
…For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life…John 3:16
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ…2 Corinthians 5:21
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,… Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it….Ephesians 2:8-9
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord…Romans 6:23

1 John 4:9-10

…This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.
…And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy….Romans 9:16

Therefore we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need…Hebrews 4:16

Jesus Christ is therefore the Love of God…

Sent to save us from the wages of our sin which is death…
But we need to boldly approach the throne of grace where we will
– Receive mercy – not get what we deserve, the wages of our sin
– And find grace – get what we do not deserve – being made the righteousness of God in Christ
…whom we receive by believing in and obtaining eternal life
We receive the free love gift by grace through faith
Once we receive this Word, we are also to be a blessing to others through the Word

The Love of God came to bring us salvation…

But what is Salvation?

It is best described as the mission of Jesus Christ

First prophesied in Isaiah 61:1-2

According to His own words in – Luke 4:18 – 19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me and has anointed me
… to preach Good News to the poor – anyone without Christ is poor / deficient
… to proclaim freedom to the captives – anyone in sin is its captive
KJV Adds similar to Isaiah – heal the broken hearted – Sin wounds us deeply and breaks / wounds our heart
… recovery of sight to the blind – when sin is removed we are able to see the goodness of God
… to release the oppressed – Once we know our position in Christ we can break off oppression – COMBAT
…Proclaim the year of t he Lords Favour .. bringing people into the favor / blessings of God as the righteousness of God in Christ

The problem with this process – it needs to be taken by force!!

From the time of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force…Matthew 11:12
We need to engage in COMBAT – Commanding Our Miracles Breakthroughs & Testimonies
Indeed, salvation needs to be worked out of us with fear and trembling…Philippians 2:12
… possibly with the seriousness it deserves for it to be attained and bear fruit in our lives

How do I partake in the favor of the Lord?

..His goodness, kindness, blessings…the fullness of our inheritance in Christ Jesus

Possibly

Receiving my righteousness of God in Christ…2 Corinthians 5:21

Colossians 1:12-14

Being made qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints in light..
…as the Lord delivers us from the dominion of darkness and transfers us to the kingdom of His beloved Son in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins

There is divine order in the things of God if we want to partake in the favor of God

To reach the point of favor in my life so that I may in turn be a blessing to another…

…I need to have passed through…according to Luke 4:18 – 19…

Having the Spirit of the Lord upon me and being anointed
Hearing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Being free from captivity (of sin)
Healing from wounds and broken hearts
Recovery of sight from blindness
Release from oppression

But we like to want the favor and blessing of God without pushing through the protocol

…and complain that nothing is working – saved but still in bondage!

Begs the question????

Have I not been partaking in the fullness of salvation?
Have I only been doing 1/4 or only half of what salvation entails?
Is that why things are still not working in my life?
….experiencing the odd phenomenon of being saved but still in bondage??
…not knowing that I have not partaken in the fullness of salvation
…for whom the Son sets free, is free indeed…John 8:36
…Indeed Lord, may I know the Truth and may the Truth set me free…John 8:32

How do I receive salvation?

Salvation is a free gift we received by grace through faith, nothing to do with us so that we may not boast…Ephesians 2:8-9
Grace being unmerited & undeserved favor, getting what I do not deserve because of the goodness of God…
…Such as when the master of the field paid the last one the same as the first one…Matthew 20
Faith being the substance of things hoped for ( the Good News, the promises of God), the evidence of things unseen… Hebrews 11:1

Hearing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

The key of faith is required to activate the the Good News of the Gospel that I have heard in my life…

For faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word about Christ… Romans 10:17

Our words together with our actions show & prove our faith…

… As faith requires that I believe that God exists and that He rewards those who faithfully seek Him…Hebrews 11:6
Our deeds prove our faith or what exactly is in our hearts
..for faith without works (that prove that I indeed have faith) is dead…James 2:17
…what we believe in our heart and say with our mouth ( faith with action) brings about salvation

..for out of the heart flows the issues of life… Proverbs 4:23

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart… Luke 6:45

Romans 10:8-10

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

Power of the Spirit of God
demonstrating or manifesting the power of signs and wonders

A Good News Gospel to those that hear and that is not only the Word, but also accompanied with the Holy Spirit & power

…because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction…1 Thessalonians 1:5

Romans 15:18-19

I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed,
by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5 (NKJV)

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

For the kingdom of God is demonstrated not in idle talk but with power.

The Spirit & Anointing of the Lord

Anointing is being set apart or consecrated for a particular purpose
The Holy Spirit is the one that sets us apart for the Lord’s purposes..
… Which Jesus describes in Luke 4:18 – 19

Have I aligned myself to the purposes of the Lord to receive what He has available for me?

For Jesus Christ is the only Way to the Truth of Life worth living to eternity…John 14:16

..because it is not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God… Zechariah 4:6
…for apart from Christ we can do nothing…John 15:5
… but we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us… Philippians 4:13
… for whom the Son sets free is free indeed… John 8:36
… & the yoke of Christ is easy and His burden light…Matthew 11:30
… the anointing breaks the yoke…Isaiah 10:27

Repentance – freedom from the captivity / slavery of sin

Repentance which basically means stopping & turning away from the ways of the world or flesh ( whatever way is not of God & considered sin) and turning back and moving towards the ways of God.
… Aligning ourselves back to the Lord and away from any other way not of the Lord.
…for the spirit and the flesh are contrary and opposed to one another…Galatians 5:17

What I submit to and obey is what I have given power and authority to rule and reign in my life.

I am a slave to whom or what I listen to and obey.
I can therefore be a slave to sin or righteousness, to God or the Devil
…as I may be asked to choose me this day whom to serve, whether the Lord God Almighty or another…

As heaven and earth may be called to witness the choice I make
… blessing or curse, life or death…Deuteronomy 30:19

#… I choose blessing, I choose life, I choose Christ Jesus so that I may live and have life in abundance…John 10:10

#… That I may indeed live to see and experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living…now unto eternity…Psalm 27:13

The vine that I attach myself to will produce its fruit in me

Whether the True Vine in Christ Jesus…John 15
…where I produce the fruit of His Spirit of Love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self control…Galatians 5:22-23
Or another vine – such as of the flesh or the enemy that produces its bad fruit of idolatry, immorality, jealousy, rage … Galatians 5:19-21

Therefore I shall be known by my good fruit…Matthew 7:20

And it will show which vine I am attached to …
Indeed whom I have submitted myself to so that they are ruling and reigning in me, producing their fruit in me.

#I attach myself to the True Vine and remain in Christ so that He can produce His good fruit in me …John 15:4

Being made whole

Sin wounds and breaks aspects of our heart…

… making us not whole, un-whole, unholy ??
The fall of man made creation fall and start to deteriorate,
… deterioration from the original point that God made things and He considered it all good… Genesis 1:31
Christ came to restore us (making us right) to the Father, making old things to pass and making all things new
…For we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus… Romans 3:22
…Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new…2 Corinthians 5:17

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
²And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

A fallen, deteriorating or unholy creation cannot fully contain the blessings of God…

Because it is a result of a curse from God…Romans 8:20
Therefore our fallen / sinful nature prevents us from fully containing the blessings of the Lord upon our lives
… for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God..Romans 3:23
The blessing may come but it leaks out of us out or the enemy is able to drain it out
… for the enemy came to kill, steal and destroy … John 10:10
…possibly because there is something of his still in us that he can still lay claim on

Possibly when we produce the enemy’s fruit, the enemy and his kind come (are attracted) to partake of it in us…

As the stench of sin will attract flies…Ecclesiastes 10:1

When we dig a pit …(casually playing with temptation ) we may fall into it ( the demons we attract may push us into the sin)…
…If we breach a wall (of protection of the Lord..e.g. moving away from Him in sin)…we may be bitten by a snake ( …why repentance is illustrated as turning away from sin and walking away from God to turning back and moving towards God and His ways)…
…under the wings (Cross??) of Christ we find refuge…Psalm 91:4

But

When we produce the fruit of the spirit in us, the Lord may with His kind ( e.g. angels) come to partake of His fruit in us??

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me,… John 14:30

Being made whole is to be like the perfect man – Jesus Christ

…we are transformed into the image and likeness of Christ from glory to glory…2 Corinthians 3:18

Recovery of sight to the blind

Ability to discern??

To know the truth (what is behind an issue / situation ) and deal with it in revelation…
..You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free…John 8:32

As the healing and deliverance process continues..(through the protocol of Luke 4:18 – 19)

We will be able to taste and see that the Lord is good…Psalm 34:8
We shall start getting a revelation (bring to light what was hidden ) of the Lord and all that He has available for us through the finished work of the Cross

Such as

All authority in heaven and earth have been given to Christ…Matthew 28:18
And we are made partakers of this authority as we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of the Father…Ephesians 2:6
The weapons of our warfare not being carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds…2 Corinthians 10:4
Putting on the full armor of God and being able to stand our ground against the enemy…Ephesians 6:10-18
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you…Luke 10:19

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance….Ephesians 1:18

to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.’

Isaiah 42:6-7

“I, the LORD, have called you for a righteous purpose, and I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and appoint you to be a covenant for the people and a light to the nations,
to open the eyes of the blind, to bring prisoners out of the dungeon, and those sitting in darkness out from the prison house.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image…2 Corinthians 3:18

Release from oppression

In Christ Jesus, the enemy can have nothing against us, with us being the righteousness of God

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD….Isaiah 54:17

When we have nothing in common with the enemy, we can legally kick him out of our lives with the authority given to us by / in Christ…freeing us from his hold or oppression.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you…Luke 10:19

Indeed in Christ Jesus, anything that has a name or can be named can be put under the authority of Christ??..

Philippians 2:10-11

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The light of Christ in us can overcome any darkness

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”… John 8:12 (NLT)
For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ… 2 Corinthians 4:6

But it has to be taken by force for the enemy will not just let go easily

Salvation, complete or total salvation at that, therefore requires

That I have the Spirit and anointing of the Lord upon me
…that will demonstrate the power of the Spirit and manifested by signs and wonders
That having heard the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for my life, I have pleasing faith in the Word where I believe in my heart (brings justification) and confess with my mouth…

Repentance – changing direction and indeed leaving completely the ways of the world, flesh or the enemy towards the ways of God
…submitting and being obedient to God
… attaching myself to the True Vine so that He may produce His good fruit in me
After dealing with sin, I start the process of being made whole – (Holy??)
… as I am transformed into the image and likeness of Christ from glory to glory…2 Corinthians 3:18
being made whole starts giving us a revelation of our true position in Christ
And we can take that power and authority to remove the oppression from our lives
..indeed we get to know the truth and use it to set ourselves free

Salvation therefore entail among other things:

Being transferred for the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the beloved Son

…For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,..Colossians 1:13

Where there is healing and deliverance

… he removes all my bad and gives me all His good
… as he transforms me into His image and likeness from glory to glory

Being made like and therefore right with God??

Where I submit myself to

…the power of the Cross – where I die to sin and death, the ways of the world and the flesh
…. the power of the Resurrection – where I am born again in the spirit and experience life and live it in its fullness

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;… 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

Blessed to be a blessing

…To be an example to others by both our words and deeds

Bearing fruit worthy of repentance …Matthew 3:8
We shall be known by our fruit… Matthew 7:6
Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right…Proverbs 20:11

For the creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God…Romans 8:19

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you… John 15:16

This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples… John 15:8

Jesus Christ therefore calls us all to go out and do certain things for the Kingdom

…falling within the principles of what He came to do – His mission
We may find that everything anyone may be commissioned to do for the kingdom will fall within Christ mission as He Himself explained in Luke 4

Baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost

… baptism of water for repentance,
… baptism of Holy Spirit & Fire – the healing & deliverance that Christ came to do in Luke 4:18-19…after hearing and believing the Word (promise)
— that is the freedom, healing, recovery and release to operate in the favor of God
–… freedom from sin,
–… healing from the brokenness that came about because of the sin
–… Recovery of (revelation on) who we are and how we see ourselves in Christ Jesus (Authority & Power)
–.. Taking that authority & power in Christ to remove oppression
–… Operating in the fullness of our inheritance in Christ – in the Lord’s favor

… and teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded

Being obedient to the Word & every Word that comes from Christ… Matthew 4:4

…Or according to Mark 16:15-20

Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved
…but whoever does not believe will be condemned
These signs will accompany those who believe: In the name of Christ Jesus they will
… drive out demons
… speak in new tongues…(filled with the Spirit with the evidence of tongues??)
… pick up snakes with their hands??? like Paul in Acts 28??
… if they drink deadly poison, it will not harm them
… lay hands on the sick and they will be healed
Jesus then went to sit at the right hand of the Father …waiting for us to act
The disciples went out and preached
… and the Lord worked through them
… confirming His Word by the signs that accompanied it

Basically healing and deliverance with the power of God working in us and through us to accomplish His purposes and plans… Philippians 2:13, Ephesians 3:20

Or according to 1 John 3:8

The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil
The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy
…while Christ came that we may have life and life in abundance…John 10:10

The Son is manifested in our lives through the hearing and receiving the Word

… the Word which cleanses, sanctifies, makes Holy, consecrates or sets us apart by washing us with its water
… He did this to present us to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, we will be holy and without fault….Ephesians 5:26-27
…- the Living water of His Spirit that marks us for Himself…Ephesians 1:13, John 7:37-39

Indeed we are sanctified by the Word because it is truth…John 17:17

And because of the Word of God spoken to us, we have already been made clean…John 15:3
We have been washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God…1 Corinthians 6:11

We should be known by our fruit

20 When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?’”
21 At that very hour Jesus healed many people of their diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and He gave sight to many who were blind.
22 So He replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
23 Blessed is the one who does not fall away on account of Me.”

What constitutes the Spirit of the Lord

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty… 2 Corinthians 3:17

Isaiah 11:2-3 (NKJV)

The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,
– The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
– The Spirit of counsel and might,
– The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

What structure did Christ setup to have His vision accomplished??

There is personal salvation…
But there is a bigger picture…
…Establishing the kingdom of God on earth…
… destroying the works of the devil

5 fold ministry of His Church – Ephesians 4:11-16

Apostle – strength & headship – Where is God’s heart – big picture – corporate – strategic
…- discomfort – pushing boundaries & claiming territory
…The true marks of an apostle—signs, wonders, and miracles—were performed among you with great perseverance…2 Corinthians 12:12
Prophet – direction – mountain top to hear from God – What is God saying
Evangelist – Concerned to get people to Christ 1st not necessarily to Church
Pastor – cares for people & bring out the best in them – do people feel loved – personal
Teacher – grounding – understanding – do people get it??

PURPOSE

Apostle and prophets form the foundation with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone… Ephesians 2:20
– To equip God’s people to do His work
– To build up the Church – Body of Christ
to bring about the divine standard of Christ in achieving
– Unity of faith… in Christ, pleasing to God, where we believe in Christ & the rewards
– Knowledge of Christ… we do not perish for lack of knowledge
… without vision ( of what Christ is all about) my people perish… Hosea 4:6

An Apostolic house

A place of empowerment not entitlement
… instead of being spoon fed to feeding others
… Asking not what God can do for me, but what I can do for God
Where caterpillars and transformed into PILLARS
A place here we are moved from our comfort zone to our productive zones
…Where eagles are taught to fly…not sit and waste their potential among the chickens
…Where lions are taught to roar & eat meat …. not being comfortable drinking milk or confined to eating grass

POINT

There is a ministers meeting today
I would expect all of us to be there
And the children activated early towards their divine calling
Seeking First the kingdom of God and His righteousness so that all other things that we may require may be added to us….Matthew 6:33
Especially as we are in the feast of Tabernacle

5 years – grace on ARCI

5780 – year of the Ox
Year of unmerited favor that if we humbly submit & work for the Lord we shall reap a harvest
– double blessing on the promises of God
– Claim the blessing of Isaac – double of the 100 fold that was sown in time of famine
– To of seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added… Matthew 6:33

PRAYER – Matthew 25 – Parable of the talents

May the Lord grant us the grace and courage
Not to be judged as wicked and lazy servants
… who fear utilizing God’s gifts on them
But to be deemed..
…good and faithful servants, faithful with the few and put in charge of many, and invited to enter into the joy of the master –
