Sequence
>> Repentance >> Restoration >> Revival
We should therefore start walking in revival after restoration
- After restoration should be revival
- But built from a foundation of repentance
Repentance
- Turning our minds & hearts back to God
- Repentance is fundamental because
- >> If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?…Psalm 11:3 (NKJV)
Restoration
- Being filled with an aspect of the goodness / awesomeness of God
- The Character & Personality of Christ
We pick 1 >> Fruit of His Spirit
>> Picture of fruit >> John 15
- We are attached to the True Vine in Christ Jesus
- He produces His good fruit in us
>> Fruit is basically >> how we Express the love of God
For God is Love & when we are in love, we are in God and God in us…
1 John 4:16 (NKJV)
- And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
Bearing His fruit glorifies the Father & is proof that we are indeed His disciples
>> John 15:8 (NKJV)
- By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
The Lord will recognize us as His own by seeing His fruit in us…
>> He looks more for fruit and than gifts
>> Fruit business is quite serious
>> Not bearing fruit is breaking the law …of love!!

Matthew 7:19-24 (NKJV)
- Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
- Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
- “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
- Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
- And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

The Rock is Christ
- Christ is the Love of God >> For God so loved the world that he gave His only beloved Son…John 3:16
Can’t build the things of God without Love as the chief cornerstone
- >> Have you not even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone….Mark 12:10
What essentially is love or what does it mean to walk in love?
…Character & personality of love
>> Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
- gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.( no restrictions, can’t be too joyful or peaceful)
>> 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)
- 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
- 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
- 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
- 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
So with…Repentance
- We turn our hearts and minds back to God
Restoration
- We get back an aspect of God that we lost
- >> Our case >> Love of God
Revival
- We spread it out to others
- >> A tree cannot eat its own fruit >> for others
- That others may taste and see that the Lord is good
- Spreading the fruit of His Spirit to the world
- Spreading the love of God to those around us
- The love of God is Christ Jesus
- …. and He comes with life and life in abundance

- So we need to be walking in love
- Can’t give out what we don’t have
For us to move to revival,we need to be walking in love and spreading the love of God!
>> That is how we know we are in revival as a Church or country
>> When we see Revival >> Love of God operating & spreading

# May we receive the love of God
…May the fruit of the Spirit of God grow in us as individuals and a Church
- That others may taste and see that the Lord is good
- In us and through us
- For His Kingdom and His glory
- For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God…Romans 8:19
