Vaccination urgently required!!

….To immunize against the virulent Kenyan Election Fever! >> K-OVID / K-ORONA – 2022 (K-22)

… more contagious than the  COVID -19 / 20 / 21 / with 22 now loading but seemingly dying out!!

… and looking to exhibit stronger symptoms than the previous K- 2017 variant

…. and mutating very fast…

… with the K-22 mutation currently exhibiting certain strong variants, 

… most prevalent being Azimio and Kenya Kwanza (Also known as the 2 horses)

… that is fast sweeping (galloping)  across the country 

… and easily swallowing or de-stabilizing (trampling) the other ‘weaker’ K-22 variants, the likes of OKA

The Kenyan Flu – Election Pandemic

…seems to mutate every 5 years 

… seemingly more infectious and stronger with each election cycle

… even rendering various prescribed vaccinations null and void

.. whether from government bodies like EACC, IEBC…

… or even the Church and other religious organisations.

So serious and virulent is the Kenyan Election Flu

… that it seems to affect the minds and hearts of almost everyone in the country

… even blurring the lines between Christians and non Christians

… with one not being able to tell the difference between the two!

… as everyone seems to be dancing to the same tune!

Dancing with the devil: Political-Charismatic Witchcraft??

It is the season of politics

…though seemingly premature,

..but we are on full swing campaigns – taking it as a matter of life and death??

All sorts of people get captured with our politics…

… Is it just an addiction or is it more of political-charismatic witchcraft?

… that even seemingly sane, educated, ‘religious’ individuals are turned inside out

…willing to let go of reason, decorum, the Word of God…

… all for the sake of pandering and dancing to the tune of their political idol

A ‘Christian’ willing to put aside Jesus for this season…

… and ‘dance’ with the devil

.. probably remembering Jesus sometime later after the polls

Kenyan politics is … one area most Christians are not willing to listen to or follow God??

_*If only Kenya could have just as much zeal for Jesus as they do their political idols…!!??*_

One perspective of looking at politics, particularly in Kenya

*It is a test of the heart* …who or at what level ( maturity) have I attained in Christ

It looks into the hidden part of the heart that we manage to hide from others and ourselves

…until a certain test ( stressor) appears to bring it out into the open

Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NKJV)

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Political Flu Symptoms – Kenyan Variant

A few political ‘flu’ symptoms that we as Kenyans seem to easily succumb or fall prey to…

– Having politics as our most important interaction, above other relationships of both God and man!

– Creation & following of political idols…that I can even die for!

– Mocking or disrespecting of God’s Name, His servants or disregarding His laws 

– Dishonoring the House of God, the Sabbath and even using it to abuse and castigate others (opponents to me or my political idol)

– Not honoring, looking down on, castigating, indeed showing outward disrespect for authority figures in our society – whether our parents, political or religious leaders

…easily forgetting or ignoring 

1Timothy 2:1-4 (NKJV)

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

…yes even that seemingly corrupt or evil politician!!??

involved in all manner of things like …Murder, Adultery, Stealing, Lying, Coveting

… as politicians are just a reflection of who we really are as a society!!??

We are behaving like Moses?!?

… at least the one time when he ‘broke’ all the 10 commandments

_*We literally break all ten of the commandment during the political season!!*_

…. not adding to the fact that we deeply immerse ourselves into things that are a complete ABOMINATION to the Lord!!

Political Flu Symptoms that are an ABOMINATION in the sight of the Lord

There are 6 things the Lord hates, indeed 7 that are an abomination to Him 

…according to Proverbs 6:16-19

How easily we defile ourselves & the land with abominations in the eyes of the Lord…

… and we are non the wiser!!

Succumbing to 

…pride and haughtiness during this season

… where outright lies come out of our mouths as easily as we are breathing

… and we do not flinch when we bear false witness against our opponents 

… Indeed our hearts seems immersed in such wickedness that we seem eager to do evil at all times…

…whether it is just simply causing trouble and division among people 

… or even contemplating and executing murder, whether physical or through false witness of character assassination

and all in the name of politics!!

… a sacrifice to the gods of politics??

God Have Mercy on us!!

Getting comfortable with abominations…

Means that one is reflecting the image and likeness of its father (source)

… inviting untold curses upon ourselves and defiling the land

Unfortunately for Kenya..

…. the so called “covenant with the devil’ seems to be earnestly renewed every 5 years

While we as Christians – a people supposedly called by the name of the Lord

… are not humbling ourselves and praying

… neither seeking the Face of God nor turning from our wicked ways

… so that the Word of the Lord in 2 Chronicles 7:14 can come into effect 

… where God promises to 

…hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land!!

…indeed the vaccination of *LOVE*

… a love for God that is demonstrated by my love for my fellow brothers and sisters

May the Lord God Almighty indeed give us the vaccination of LOVE …

… to take us through the election season and beyond

So that indeed others may taste and see the fruit of love in our lives…

… and indeed acknowledge that the Lord is good!!
